Days are over in Punjab,when newspapers publishes the news of the suicides of the farmers, now the people of Punjab are opting another way of suicides by injecting the hell in their veins, yes you are right I mean the term 'narcotics'. It was in history, when we were told that Punjabis fought bravely in many battles and won most of them with the courage and hard earned health. Now I am feeling shame that the youth of the land of five rivers is killing themselves and cowardly.
The term narcotics means sleep inducer but it's not just that it induces sleep, it has very serious health effects on human body. It is not just in Punjab or the parts of India that has been effected by the drugs produced in Afghanistan
Afghanistan produces tons of opium and its derivatives which are trafficked into the various parts of the world including USA and the rich European Nations, but I will write about Punjab as it is my home state. Punjab Youth has been effected by the narcotics the newspapers covers the stories that young girls and boys almost everyday are dying by injecting these drugs into the veins through injections.
Let's discuss about some of the types of narcotics.In Afghanistan, cultivation of opium poppy (scientific name Paperwork somniferum) is done which also produces it's derivatives  like morphin,heroine and codeine,For example, a  heroin which cost 5 crore per kg in lnternational market cost very less in Afghanistan, it cost become 1.5 to 5 lacs in Pakistan but when it comes in India prices are 10 to 20 times higher, so in another words it becomes a business and in business there are very big stakeholders.As these drugs are very costly and getting out of the reach of the junkies of Punjab now what they are doing,they are moving towards synthetic drugs.The synthetic drugs are very effective and damaging often multiple times higher than their natural derivatives, synthetic drugs like Methadone, Pethidine, K2 Spice and Fentanyl which can cause anxiety, nausea,vomiting, high blood pressure, Ignite suicidal thoughts and often leads to heart attack.
I am finding myself difficult to summarise the narcotics and its ill effects on Punjabi youth, as many pages are required to elaborate and discuss the different aspects of this Hell on my land.It's not just the Border security force of India or Punjab Police have to be alert, it's a moral duty of each and every Punjabi to become vigilant and take on those people who are involved in drug trafficking and targeting the youth of Punjab.Youth is invaluable property of any country or a state,to protect the youth that should be the ultimate goal of Governments,Agencies and the local citizens.

 Today on the stage of United Nations, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan is crying about the conditions of Kashmiris through which they are going, after the removal of article 370. He wants that world leaders should hear him closely, so that the Kashmir becomes an international issue which is the prime aim of Pakistani establishment whether it is government or the Pakistani army. The Khalsa for Aid.......

The tenth Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji of the Sikh religion, had created Khalsa few hundred years back in the history but the principles of Khalsa is continuing and serving the people who are deprived and desperate for the help. One of the most important principle of Khalsa which was displayed  in the battle zone by Bhai Kanhaiya Ji who served water to the enemies and provided first aid in the battle zone.
